Meta optužena za pirateriju filmova za odrasle i trening vještačke inteligencije
Mark Zuckerbergova kompanija Meta suočava se sa tužbom prema kojoj je preuzimala i distribuirala stotine filmova za odrasle radi upotrebe u obuci vještačke inteligencije. Strike 3 Holdings i Counterlife Media podnijeli su tužbu na federalnom sudu u Kaliforniji, navodeći da su pratili IP adrese i e‑poštu i otkrili aktivnosti još od 2018. godine.
Prema podnesku, Meta je preuzimala i seedala zaštićene sadržaje putem Bittorrent-a, a među pronađenim adresama bila je "at least one residential IP address of a Meta employee". Tužba navodi "methodical and persistent distribution of those works" i tvrdi: "Defendant has continuously infringed Plaintiffs’ Works for years," the suit claims, "often infringing the very same day the motion pictures are released."
Analize navodno pokazuju "non-human patterns," i ukazuju da je "the acquisition of this content [may have been] for AI training data." Tužitelji tvrde da njihovi filmovi nude specifičan ljudski prikaz i kontinuitet scena: "Plaintiffs’ Works provide natural, human-centric imagery, which shows parts of the body not found in regular videos, and a unique form of human interactions and facial expression," the lawsuit reads, "Plaintiffs' motion pictures contain extended scenes without director cuts which enable AI models to experience continuity in a way that cannot be derived from most television shows or mainstream motion pictures."
Strike 3 i Counterlife traže uklanjanje piratskog sadržaja, trajnu zabranu daljeg torrentovanja i odštetu do $150,000 po snimku — za 2,396 zapisa to može iznositi i do $359 million. Tužba također navodi: "Such models will eventually create identical content for little to no cost," the suit alleges, što bi moglo ugroziti buduću mogućnost studija da konkurišu na tržištu.
